O'Neals

O'Neals O'Neals in Spring Valley became a busy cross roads during the gold rush era. It thrived with the development of the Bigelow Stage Lines which served Sugar Pine, Bass Lake and North Fork. The post office was named for the first postmaster and hotel man, Charles O'Neal. The Ponderosa Telephone Company, Spring Valley School and nearby cattle ranches provide for the community's economy.
